After a leisurely start including showers, hair cut for Grahame, water refill etc we left for Sintra at midday. By 13:30 we were back at the Aire having found Sintra to be SO busy with just nowhere to park.
We decided not to give it up as a loss and maybe have another go on Tuesday, but this time cycling from the Aire (10 hilly miles each way).
In the mean time we are just chilling out for the rest of the day :)
EDIT: We decided mid afternoon to move on to Obidos. The road took us through Ericeira which is a major surfing resort however we were again unable to find anywhere to park so we continued directly to Obidos.
