Sierra Nevada to Cabra 5th Feb

We woke up to brilliant blue sunshine and a cloudless sky.  After breakfast we went for a walk higher up the mountain and watched the skiers as they raced down the slopes.  If I was not so fearful of breaking something I do believe I would love skiing.  I think skiers manage to live in another world, above the clouds, warm and sunny.......nice!
The temperature warmed up to a balmy 7 degrees but in the sun it felt much warmer.  Our walk panned out to be about 6 miles so we felt well exercised for the day.

Then we drove the 93 miles to Cabra (and this time at 47 mpg average! It was downhill for 24 miles)
Our intention was to stop overnight in Cabra then get up early to drive to Cordoba but we like the look of Cabra so much that we will stay here tomorrow and explore the local area.
We intend to be back in Portugal by Friday night.
(Note: I have just realised that Sierra Nevada was the furthermost destination on this tour so from hereon in we are principally driving back towards England).
