We expected more of Evora but somehow it didn't quite make it. Perhaps we have overdone the culture thing recently?
What did impress us though (in a slightly spooky way) was the chapel of bones that is made up of the bones from over 5000 people, many of whom were monks.
After Evora we visited some standing stones nearby that are 6000 years old.......these DID impress us.
Then we drove towards Sinatra ready for the next day. The journey was long and tortuous especially when were near Lisbon.
Anyway........more food, more wine, more sleep!
