Estremoz is the larger of the three 'marble towns' so named because almost every building, pavement, toilet etc is made entirely from marble due to the proximity of loads of marble quarries.
We cycled to Vila Vicosa then Borba and back, the whole trip about 25 miles. Vila Vicosa was certainly the prettiest, Borba the most rustic and Estromoz the most lively.
It has been another really warm day with unlimited blue skies.
Later in the afternoon we drove to Evora ready to explore the next day. After a false start we ended up parking bang in the middle of a large free parking area so we pulled all the blinds down and kept 'incognito' for the night.
Again, food, wine, sleep (bit of a theme here?)
